The winners of the IJMF2017 Audience Award, Finnish group Sheine Ite are recording their first album.

Singer Jenny Liebkind is personally also involved with a project where 3 known Finnish female artists come together with music and dance from different cultures and faiths. Together with known gospel singer Reeta Vestman and famous Finnish Kurdish dancer Haza Hajipoori, they create and perform original music (in Finnish) and dance.
